Farm to Fork Food Assurance

VeriPrime Certified Safeguards focuses prevention efforts throughout the food production chain. It does not extend into the home environment, so consumers need to follow simple, safe food handling and cooking practices to keep products safe. The Partnership for Food Safety recommends the following four simple steps to ensure food safety in the home:
  • CLEAN: Wash hands and surfaces often
  • SEPARATE: Don't cross-contaminate!
  • COOK: Cook to proper temperature
  • CHILL: Refrigerate promptly
